04 — Bookings

A calendar your customers can use.

Set your hours and your treatments once. After that, a booking confirms itself, and the person who made it can move it without anyone answering the phone.

A week of booked treatment sessions, each with a customer, treatment and specialist, and one session marked cancelled.
The week's book. Sessions sit under the day they fall on, with the treatment and the specialist on each. Cancellations stay on the page struck through rather than vanishing, so the front desk can see what changed. A demonstration store. The staff, customers and bookings are invented.

Set it once

Your hours, your treatments, your closures.

Opening hours, not a slot list
Set the hours you're open on each weekday and the bookable times follow from them. Nobody has to fill a calendar week after week for the next six months.
Treatments with real lengths
A ninety-minute treatment takes ninety minutes of the day, so it can't be booked into an hour that doesn't exist. Any one session can run longer than its treatment usually does, without inventing a second treatment for it.
Closures beat the weekly hours
Holidays and one-off days off are named once and simply stop being offered.
As many at once as you have hands
A time is bookable while somebody is free to take it, and the named specialist can't be double-booked. Collisions are re-checked at the moment of saving, not only when the list was drawn — a page can sit open for an hour.

The customer's side

They can move it without ringing you.

The front desk phone is not a booking system, and the people answering it have customers in front of them.

A confirmation with two buttons
Reschedule and Cancel, in the email, opening a page that shows their booking — when, what, with whom, and where. No login, no account, no app.
They only see times that work
The open times offered are for their treatment's length, with their own specialist, inside your hours — so a customer cannot rebook themselves into a slot you can't honour.
The shop finds out immediately
The week on screen updates itself and says what changed — "cancelled 4:00 PM" — rather than quietly rearranging behind whoever is looking at it.
Cancelled isn't deleted
A cancelled session stays on the day, struck through, stamped with who cancelled it and when. The slot goes back on offer; the history doesn't disappear.
